1. Temporary Permits for Interstate Movement:
If you require your vehicle to travel temporarily to other states from
Madhya Pradesh, you can obtain a Temporary Permit (TP) for Interstate
Movement. This permit allows your vehicle to operate in specific
states for a limited period (usually up to 6 months).
Eligibility:
1. The vehicle must be registered in Madhya Pradesh.
2. Valid Pollution Under Control (PUC) Certificate.
2. Original Registration Certificate (RC) of the vehicle.
3. Proof of address of the vehicle owner.
4. Reason for temporary movement and specific states to be covered.
2. All India Permit (AIP) for Goods Vehicles:
If you own a goods vehicle exceeding 7,500 kg gross vehicle weight and
need to operate across all states in India, you can obtain an All
India Permit (AIP). This permit allows unlimited interstate travel for
the validity period (usually 1 year).
Eligibility:
1. Vehicle type: Only goods vehicles exceeding 7,500 kg gross vehicle
weight are eligible. Multi-axle vehicles must be under 15 years old,
while non-multi-axle vehicles must be under 12 years old.
2. Valid documents: RC, PUC Certificate, insurance, driver's medical
certificate.
Required Documents:
1. Application Form 4 along with fees.
2. Original RC of the vehicle.
3. PUC Certificate.
4. Vehicle insurance policy copy.
5. Driver's medical certificate (Form MV-14).
6. Additional Documents: Countersignature of the permit from other
states' RTOs (if applicable), proof of ownership of goods (if
applicable).
