1. You must be 18 years or older to register a vehicle in your name.
2. The vehicle must be registered in all over India.
1. Aadhaar photocopy
2. PAN photocopy
3. Two photographs
4. Financier's No. 20 chassis rub and signature on the form
5. Insurance photocopy with original barcode
6. Cut slip made from original chassis number (for commercial vehicles)
7. Original dealer papers: Form 21, Form 22, speed bill, governor bill, TR tax receipt, and fees (if filled)
8. Photographs of the vehicle from all sides or a catalogue (for commercial vehicles)
9. Authorization letter signed by the owner
10. If selecting a specific number, sign the authorization letter provided
11. For commercial vehicles with a ready-made body, deposit life tax within 7 days of vehicle pickup to avoid a 10% penalty
12. Avoid any work (welding) on the vehicle's body until it is passed and deemed fit (for commercial vehicles)
13. Ensure that the date on the insurance and all papers matches the date the vehicle is picked up (for commercial vehicles)
14. If purchasing a vehicle from outside, ensure the dealer's phone number provided on the paperwork is active.
